Located beside the Bell Weir Lock on the River Thames, The Lock Bar and Kitchen restaurant at The Runnymede-on-Thames hotel in Egham offers riverside dining at its finest.
With friendly waiter service and a discreet atmosphere, The Lock Bar and Kitchen restaurant is ideal for couples and small parties. A bright and breezy bistro-style restaurant with a French influence, The Lock Bar and Kitchen features stunning Tom Kirk chandeliers, tweed, leather and wooden herringbone flooring. In warm weather, the floor-to-ceiling doors lead outside for gorgeous al fresco dining on the riverside.
The food concept offers a choice of a fixed price menu or a la carte menu, always reflecting the seasons. The food is ethically and locally sourced wherever possible. Organic and sustainable ingredients are used to release bold flavours in succulent dishes from the Josper Charcoal Oven. Freshly grilled dishes and mouth-watering platters for sharing are available. Accompanying the rustic menu, the extensive wine list emphasises French wines whilst the bar offers the perfect spot for an aperitif or cocktails. |
